Ummm... Hi.
Not much else to say really. Been stalking this forum since 2013, but never had dramas with the i30 (till today, but thats subject for another post).
I bought my 2011 FD Turbo Diesel SLX 5D Hatch back in 2013 with 20,000km on it and quickly moved it up to 260,000km by 2017. Since then, it has stopped being a commuter and has only done 8000km in 18 months.
All i can say is that it is an amazing car... trouble free, economic motoring. Ive only replaced 6 tyres in almost 270,000km. I had heard horror stories of regular blown headlamps, so when i blew a globe at around 30,000km, I upgraded the halogens to HID and have not had an issue. Ummm, yeah, thats about it.
My road garage consists of 2011 i30; 1993 Toyota Lancruiser (heavily modified for extreme off roading); 2002 Toyota Prado; 2006 Toyota Kluger; 2003 Kawasaki ZZR & 1963 Lotus Super Seven.
