Hi,
I have the problem that my Hyundai i30 CW, 2011, 1.4i, the backlight of the instrument display gets on (after approx. 30 seconds) after turning the car off or closing the car with remote (it dissappear when I put the key out or close it with remote, or even when the car is off and the key stays in the contact, but then it gets on again after 30 seconds and stays on). This backlight is a little bit darker then when the display is really on.
When closing the door the display gets off, and when opening the door de display is on, but then with the distance etc. on the display.

They already have changed the instrument panel for another one, but the problem is back. Does someone has the same issue? And what did you do?

This sounds like it's related to your alarm, which I believe engages after 30 seconds.

Hmm.. will need some more thought...
