Hi All,
we just bought our "new" 2013 i30cw, it came with a WINCE Multumedia based system by AVOX,
does someone know if this system can be upgraded to a newer version or maybe to android?
can i add new apps to this system? like OBD monitor app?
i have noticed that the car have two obd ports, one near the driver seat and one under the hood, are they similar?
if i leave my obd dongle plugged in, will it drain the battery?

thanks.

I don't think the dongle will drain your battery.

The one under the hood is for the dealer's use. I think it has a different function.

I do not know anything about the stereo you have.

There's a lot of hacking discussion about WinCE devices such as GPS and car systems, so you should be able to find something with a bit of Googling. Good luck! :victory:
