Wheels has it on the front cover,  give it a full flogging , loved it.
Reshaped the term "hot hatch ".

At your local outlet  if you're interested.

I think the value for money side of the equation will make it a volume seller. We've already scored a new Aussie member that has ordered one! :happydance:

Looked at the Wheels article last week and was a little disappointed.  The full images were mock ups based on the images everyone has seen of the camouflaged test vehicles.  Just an attempt but Wheels to get the first article written with very little relevance to what we will finally get in Australia.

And he's already getting bad news - the dealer emailed me on Friday - according to Hyundai Oz,  the release date looks like being pushed back until the 1st quarter of next year :(  On the positive, if you want one of the first off the boat, theres still time to put down a deposit, they'll be allocated on a pre order first come first served basis.

In the meantime, I'll just have to annoy everyone I know about it, read other forums where the boy racers are whining about it not being rwd, manual, having auto blip etc etc (I love the complaints about it not having a slush box, then in the next breath they bag the auto blip because it's takes the skill out gear changing - is that what they call having your cake and throwing it up against the wall?)

One annoying thing I'm feeling is that I've been a long time ute owner, so while waiting for delivery I start collecting spotties, cb's and the like, but with the i30N, all it's going to need is a pair of fluffy dice. If it doesn't arrive until  next year I'll have 600  version of fluffy dice to install!

Anyhow, heres another review that I've read 43 times http://www.motoring.com.au/hyundai-i30n-2017-review-107209/

Sorry to hear that Shane very disappointing for you. I suppose the positive is  it will be 2018  registered and fluffy dice shares will go up.

I'm not all that disappointed, I was expecting delays (when has a new model of anything been released on time), I'll use the time wisely to do the best performance mod I can - into the gym and lose 20 kilo's :) If I do that, I might even fit into my old driving suit (the boots and gloves still fit, but for some odd reason my helmets too small). The full nomex underwear rig might be a bit OTT for a trip to supermarket, but I'm sure it'll give me some serious cred in the Macca's drive through.

What did you race, smokey?
I spent a bit of time around the circuits in (many) years past.

A couple of mates and I used to rally a bit, and do the odd hill climb back in the mid to late eighties.  We had (if I can remember them all) a Datsun 1600, a Cortina, an Escort and a Mazda RX2 - I'm sure you would have heard of us, we where better than Brocky (in our own little beer addled brains)

I'd love to get back into hill climbs, in a little clubbie:)
