@fabulatuaest and @Antcha

Member AlanHo's i30's were fitted with sensors provided to Hyundai by a firm called Cobra. Cobra have been taken over by Vodaphone and they are now called Vodaphone Cobra.

A laptop loaded with the Cobra software can be plugged into the control box for the sensors. Each sensor can then be adjusted for angle covered and range (sensitivity).

His dealer could not do it - so they went to an independent cobra technician who has fitted Cobra front sensors to 3 of his cars.

Not sure if the Sensors we are talking about here are the same, but may be worth asking.

Thanks for the update @Dazzler! Sounds like one might be better off just forgoing the front park assist - more trouble than it's worth, really.

To be honest why have the front sensors unless you wish to park right up to the object in front of you.
  • 1.4 Petrol Active I'm no expert, so please correct me if

I find the front of the PD reasonably easy to judge (touch wood), although the new front design does expose the grill in particular to damage.

 :undecided: Funny how they didn't think of that. Bet the replacement cost will make up for the oversight.  :mrgreen:
