Thanks for that parents are thinking about a new car at the moment so I'll suggest the i30 Trophy as an item of interest.

Yeah, it's got the 2L engine, but otherwise it hits the good bonus items (17" wheels, leather interior) that can make that added difference. For a sub-$24k driveaway price... it's pretty damned attractive.

Yes the 2.0 petrol GDi with 6 speed auto is a pretty impressive entry level drivetrain. If a Trophy had Autonomous Cruise I could almost live with one!

True..  But the extra power from the turbo I couldn't go past
