A seesawing battle over three days with Sebastian Ogier.

On the last day, Neuville reeled Ogier in bit by bit and overtook him on the final (Power) stage to win by 0.7 second. So he takes maximum points plus 5 for the power stage win, extending his lead over Ogier for the title.

Paddon finished fourth while early leader Mikkelsen was well down after a gearbox failure. But he continues to set quick times.

To beat Ogier in a tight battle might indicate Neuville has found that little bit extra needed to go on and win the title.
