Title: Very Low speed knocking noise over OSF wheel when going over bumps
Post by: rosstheboss1972 on April 14, 2018, 12:05:06
Hi guys, my local mechanic thinks it's driveshaft related but cannot get hold of the parts allegedy???. It's not related to turning the steering wheel. He has been unable to visualise the fault he told me, he thought it was the antiroll bar / control arms but no. Any other second generation petrol i30 owners had a similar issues and what did it turn out to be? TIA

I have had internal knocking coming from a strut . You may be able to hear it if you lift and lower car with a floor jack. Otherwise wait until it gets worse.
