Thanks, friends. It's been very nice so far.

Last night after work we packed a small suitcase and booked into a Southbank hotel, then had a long dinner on the restaurant tram, followed by a quiet night at the hotel, then up for the included breakfast before dropping in on Mum and brother for a lunch and afternoon of a game of Star Trek edition of Settlers of Catan (I came second to my brother, used his stranglehold on Dilithium and Tritanium resources to build the Largest Starfleet and a few Starbases to beat my stranglehold on Oxygen and Water to build the largest number of Starbases, but little scope for more Starships to build more Outposts).

As you can tell, it was a joyously nerdy afternoon. The girls were baffled by the terminology as we warped ahead.

Bro got me a really cool Parrot Swing, so it looks like some fresh air sessions in the near future.
