I have purchased a CAM belt kit and armed with a CD ROM workshop service manual have attempted to fit it.
Unfortunately I am unable to adjust the tensioner as per manaul, Using an allen key I am unable to get the indicator any where near the slot in the base plate.  This is a desperate situation, my partner will need here car tomorrow.
Any help much appreciated.

Strangely enough when I fitted the idler pulley, I was able to adjust the tensioner correctly. So my cockup.
