Hi, I have just bought an i30 2015 demo model with 5k on the clock, specifically GD3 with gd02 radio and cannot use the voice command with my iPhone 5s by pressing the "voice" on the radio screen whilst Bluetooth paired. The local Hyundai dealer service guy tells me that the radio's software works with 4s but not with 5s.

Can anyone confirm this limitation, it seems odd

Hmmm - interesting.  Sorry I can't confirm one way or the other. It would seem odd it would work for one and not the other.... unless it was emulating a button press on the mobile (which has changed between models).

I am guess with the mention of a GD-02 radio (no cd) and GD3 that you are located somewhere in Oz.
