Hi ppl!!

My front parking sensors stopped working. I think they are only dirty.
Front left and front right is working normally.
I looked all over the internet trying to find picture of location of front parking sensors but no luck.
I have I30 2013 Elite.
Please if any one can tell it would be great.

They should be visable as small round things set flush on the front bumper.

Are they after market or fitted with car at new.

Not sure how many fitted to front.
Could be just 2, one on each corner.

Have you tried cleaning the front bumper to locate them and if more than the 2 currently working may be dirty as you imply then they may start to work.

There should be 4 sensors across the front (left side as pictured), same with the rear.

Thank you ppl for answer.
I have cleaned front left and right but I didn't see those front ones.
I know how they look and on rear I see all 4 of them but not in front.
I'll check again and try to take picture.

Thanks again for quick reply.

BTW, there are factory ones built in.

I don't see anywhere front-front sensors. Only front-side ones.
is it possible that it uses side ones for front? I know that there is front one for sure.

As confirmed 2 sensors, one in each corner, and working, what made you say "stopped working"

Are you viewing at the correct dash information and not getting the front and rear mixed up.

My 2013 GD i30 had just two sensors at the front at each corner. Older members here may recall I started a thread about it because they are not truly front sensors. If you drive towards a pole (a round vertical thing - not a person) the sensors usually failed to detect it.

Hyundai UK - eventually advised their intention is to warn you when reversing out, or driving in, between two vehicles that the front bumper is getting too near the adjacent vehicle.

I couldn't reply earlier.
I know for sure that it showed on my display front just like in rear sensors.
Here is how it looks on rear and same goes for front sensors.

And here is how it looks now when I'm close to a wall

Front-front like they never existed.
Maybe it uses some other sensor for that (like impact sensor)?
Is anyone here with I30 2013 Elite?

To me from photo's provided of front of car and the dash i would say you have....... 4 on rear but only 2 at front.

How long have you had the car?

Not long. About 6 months. I bought it in Germany. Well, it is made in Czech Republic 2012 but it is 2013 German edition. Elite version with rear cam, SAT NAV etc.
I see that there is only 2 sensor in front but it worked front-front detection until month ago. It could be that they are hidden somewhere in front. I'll have to take the plastic cover under the hood to see that is there.
