Hi there,

This is my first forum post. It looks like a great place!

I have an i30 FD with a diesel D4FB engine.

It appears that oil vapour/mist is being blown the wrong way up the air intake pipe towards the MAF sensor and airbox. I think the oil may be coming from the rocker cover vent where it joins into the air intake pipe. I noticed a seep from the end of the air intake pipe where it's clamped onto the MAF sensor housing. Could this be a turbo pack pressure issue? I took the air intake pipe off and had a look at the turbo vanes. They appear to look normal with no play in the bearing. Oil made it's way up to the MAF sensor and was causing an engine shudder under light acceleration when cold.

Thanks in advance for any help.
