I was wondering about the european version of hyundai i30 gd 1.4 crdi
what is the mark of  the Factory Shock Absorbers?   bilstein, sachs, kyb etc!

The car is very comfortable of course.

Regards!!

AFAIK manufacturers outsource shocks/ struts and normally that would be done on a tender/ contract basis which could change from time to time.
Sometimes, like with tyres and/or brakes, they will have more than one supplier at any given time, so it could be the luck of the draw as to which supplier provided those on your car.

Best people to ask, could be Hy Spares, @ Gosford. they have a page.
Like Trev said the factory would out source prob would depend where assembly is too. was a report when the i30 first came to Australia late 2007, got the sus…… tuned to Australian conditions . not sure how true this is, as mine rides bloody hard on dirt roads.

Would most likely be different for a euro built car ...
