Expensive but interesting new Mazda 3 on the cards for Australia

At around (or over) 40K this new Mazda 3 will be very expensive for the size and class, but could be a great drive and very economical too. With a combo of the new under performing but potentially promising sky active x technology + a mild hybrid system it should be responsive and very fuel efficient.

Being a big hybrid fan, I'll be keen to test drive it. Unlikely to buy one due to pricing and the fact that the CX-30 version would be more suitable for us but the boot space would not be adequate. But still an interesting development.
