Hi

I recently came back from a weeks holiday to find when I started the car it had no power steering and the cluster was not working, everything else electrical windows. Radio etc. were all fine. turns out the fuse had blown, nice easy fix! ran the car for the next week no issues then one morning again the same problem but this time every time a new fuse was put it as soon as the ignition was turned on it would blow.  Have had a couple of people look at it, one seemed to think it could be an issue with the power steering motor so suggested to disconnect that, the other said it would be the ECU.

Anyone else had this kind of issue before?

Welcome,

Sorry to hear that. There will need to be a process of elimination to isolate the fault. I'm no expert, but I would try and find a local auto electrician with a good reputation that doesn't charge like a wounded bull to do some checking.

Hopefully other with more mechanical nowse will chime in shortly.
