I don't mind the wet. It's the mud streak up your back that's worth avoiding. :crazy1:

I've always wondered about mudguards. If you are going out in the wet, you are going to get wet (I know, right) and if not, then why have a mudguard??   :umbrella:

so you don't get a wet arse on dry days , when you run thru wet patches..... :D

Get an old bike with those shiny chrome guards that cover the wheels for rainy days.   :D

when you ride dirt tracks thats mud your talking about. we have had lot of rain in my area so nice and green now just lot of mud puddles have to watch out for. I have seen a lot of touring pushy this week passing through town or camping , loaded to the max I don't know why they carry so much on the bikes.
you ever get flats Lester?

Spare inner tube

we all carry spare tube pump and leavers, a month ago we had someone get a puncture each week for three weeks. held the group up as the people who go punctures. had no experience at fixing.
anyway I moved to the fast group the week after and so far no one has got one. also I went tubeless and put endure sealer in and bolt in tubeless valves. so far so good.
