The Spanish forum has a few asking what may be causing this. Any insight, guys? Since Canbus was mentioned in one of the posts, I'm guessing it applies to models some time after the FD and I wouldn't know of such nuisances with my trusty Firty.

I'd read reports about this behaviour on some HID kits somewhere before, cant remember where I found the topic now but it seems some faults are due to some cheaper units and counterfeit brands that advertise canbus but actually aren't and also poorly made canbus drivers and HID decoders.

Philips HID's are probably one of the most counterfeited brands out there and a few other top brands so always do the homework and make sure to purchase through a legitimate licensed reseller.
