Hi All

As of now, I am a full pledge member of this forum in name as well as in deed.

Just picked up my I30 SR Premium PD2 today.  Chicken out on tint 20% so I went with full 35% instead.

Looks great M8. Better that she likes it than doesn't. My wife prefers her 2014 Manual wagon. She can't get used to auto and the clever cruise etc...

Wife car is 2015 Subaru Outback Premium.  We used it to go to the snow and stuff.  :)

on a side note, I just read the manual of the I30 - Brain fried with information overload, I think I need some whiskeys to cool down from brain overheating.

That makes a nice combo of vehicles. No real hardship if you have to drive the outback occasionally.  :goodjob:

As long as you don't have to pay to service it

Like the majority of happy married men that live by the motto "Happy wife, happy life".

She keep telling me: "Don't worry darling, your money is my money anyway"

Actually, servicing the Subaru isn't too bad, just have to keep an eye out for stupid "optional addon" service that they recommended when you bring the car in i.e.  "We detect some bacteria, recommend that you replace filter".

Such a generic comment - bacteria are everywhere.
I replied, "and i detect some bacteria on the phone you are using to call me as well.  You should replace that.  Joking aside, all my other cars survived over 10 years without that service, so no thank you."

That’s the last place you want the car going, inspect for trolley damage when she gets home :crazy2:
