Hi
The ESP light is permanently on

That means I can’t use cruise control or switch ESP function on or off

This happened after I flattened the battery and recharged it
I’ve tried turning the wheel full left then full right, as described in the manual
I’ve also tried turning on the ignition with the button held down
All to no avail

I read a couple of posts suggesting it could be tyre pressure, blown stop light or a faulty wheel sensor

Can anyone help please ?
Thanks

Have you taken it for a drive, turned it off and restarted? I ripped my steering column out yesterday, had the battery disconnected. had the ESP light on.,  switch made no difference. Took it for a short run, shutdown, restart ESP back to normal.

Also I had intermittent ESP fault and there was a recall for the brake switch and I've had no issues since.

I’ll ring up a dealer tomorrow
Probably needs a diagnostic machine plugged in to work out the problem
Thanks for the help ?

Yes it seems the brake pedal switch is faulty
Break lights don’t come on, ESP light is permanently on and I can’t use the cruise control
Rang dealer, maybe fixed under a recall warranty

If it is that which seems likely it will definitely be a free warranty fix. Must have slipped through the net. :goodjob:
