One thing that intrigues me about the seat design - and it isn't unique - is that the location fixing for the seat forward and back position is a little peg on each side of the seat about 6 mm dia that are raised and lowered by the seat adjustment lever. They locate into a row of holes on the seat mounting slide which is then attached to the car floor by two 10mm dia bolts each side.
This is the weakest part of the seat arrangement - in a serious collision these pegs would shear off and the seat shoot forward or back long before the seat mounting bolts were torn asunder.
