has anyone had to get engine for i30 2014/15 elite  replaced under warranty?

Not that I can recall. Is yours petrol or Diesel?

  • 2021 MG PHEV ( had 4 x i30 plus a Getz an Elantra and a Tucson)

Can't see how you would be too angry about getting a brand new engine in a 2014/15 car.....

Thats nearly as good as getting a new car for a 2.5 year old car with 65k on it  :whistler:
