Title: Liquimoly on i30 2009 FD?
Post by: logicweapon on November 22, 2020, 15:13:20
Hello all,

I’ve been due for an oil change for some time now. I’ve found this running on promo and wondered if it’d be feasible on my i30. Previously it had Shell Helix on it but I figured since it’s on promo I’d try Liquimoly’s Leichtlauf 5w40 instead. I’m torn between this and Castrol Edge. Does anyone have experience with this engine oil in particular? Any advice or feedbacks would be much appreciated, thanks!  :goodjob2:

Never used it, what’s wrong with Shell Helix or Ultra 5W-40 ?

It's 5W40 and it's full synthetic - seems safe enough for a 2009. Does their website endorse its use? Does Hyundai?
