Well after just over 20,000 Kim’s  fuel economy has improved.   160 Klms round trip from Gold  Coast to Brisbane daily   time trip computer on the car is reading around 5.7  L per 100 klms  but they are not correct  last tank of fuel today 706 klms from 42.54 litres  cheap price as well at the moment $1.19 at 7/11   It works out at 6.0 litres per 100 klms I are happy with that  the only modification front resonator removed   and rear muffler replace with high flow muffler . I have  found not driving at 110 klm  but 100 to 105 will make fuel economy better that extra rpm will cause it to use more fuel
I still do have a sudden rush of blood  on the odd  take off from lights  the car is gettting better  very happy with it  rant over thanks

Hi "The Don" that's great! I did a recent 4000+ road trip on the mainland and averaged 6.3 L/100 kms which I was also very happy with. You are right about the cruising speeds. I spend a lot of time on Tassie roads that have a 110kph limit (I usually sit at 112-114 indicated) this brings mine up closer to a 7.0 L/100 kms average.  :undecided:

I read somewhere that cruising above 90 also greatly increases tire wear due to heat build-up, but not sure how much of a difference that makes in an Aussie summer.
