Hi all,
Last week, my GD changed time by an hour, i'm assuming due to some automatic daylight saving programming.
However ive never had this issue before and the head unit has no option to adjust time.
Just wait until daylight savings kicks in or is there a work around?

I'm quite sure that you can adjust the time and probably chose whether to let the clock advance or retard automatically for summer/winter daylight saving. It will be an option in the settings.

I no longer have an i30 but can recall doing it easily each year. Is there not an instruction in the owner's manual?

Yeah nah. There are no clock controls at all. Only the choice to go from 12 to 24 hour format.
Any other ideas?

      Caloundra, Queensland.
The option is there.
You just have to know how to find it. Not sure about the GD but......
Try holding down one of the knobs for a few seconds. I think Volume.
Screen should change into a menu. Only one item at a time on show but by turning the knob clockwise (?), it'll take you to each option, one of which will be "set time" or something similar.

There are a lot of threads out there on other forums and sites about this issue. I was sitting in my car waiting for someone and so started fiddling with it again.
Found it!
You got to go into your maps settings and disable auto time zone and set it manually yourself. (ie. +10 gmt for Sydney)
Not sure why they dont put this under clock in the main menu...

I did the same thing, but the speed alert for school zone is ignoring the GMT setting and using the Auto time, which is currently 1 hour ahead of the real time.
