I had a bad start to the day.

I went to the local Spa shop to buy our Sunday Mail and a large bottle (Plastic) of Milk.

I had the paper in one hand and the milk in the other and I joined a long queue at the checkout.

Just as I got to the front of the queue  someone behind me stumbled and their wire basket hit my elbow funny bone. My arm jerked and the milk flew out of my hand - almost straight up. I tried to catch it with both hands - so the newspaper joined the aerial display which terminated when the milk hit the floor and exploded in a huge fountain of milk which was diverted in every direction when the newspaper joined it

There was then a huge puddle of milk and dishevelled soggy newspaper pages all along the front of both checkouts with me and 2 other customers well splashed with milk.  The queue had to wait until it was cleaned up by the assistants - who thought it funny.

You paint a great picture as usual Alan. I can visualize the mess (yuk)

I held my breath it wasn't car damage! So I was kind of relieved. 

Also when i first read it I thought the last four words was a question (I nearly said - I did!)
