Just bought myself i30 and i need to replace water fuel filter sensor and its expensive. so i decided to buy from aliexpress where its only 10 euros.
The problem is i dont know which one is the correct one, i can pick from 8mm screw thread, 10mm and 12mm screw thread.
i think its 10mm, but i dont want to wait 2 months for this to arrive just to realise that i ordered wrong one, so here i am asking for help
here is the link to aliexpress page and all the diffrent sizes

Why not remove sensor and measure the thread thickness?
-
that is the plan if i dont get around it

The only other strategy I can suggest is what I do to gain as much information as I can for a product on eBay, which is usually to look at all other examples of the same product and seek more detail to confirm a match.

I recently replaced fuel filter on 2011 Czech-built 1.6 diesel. I still have the old filter, it is Hyundai part 31922-2R900, made in China by UFI.
I measured the inside diameter of the thread in the bottom of the filter and it is 8.6mm, so I guess the thread size is 10mm.
You can try :link: PartSouq Auto Parts Around the World (http://www.partsouq.com) and search using your vehicle VIN number. This will give you drawings of all the engine parts and the correct part number for your oil filter. If you then search for that part number you should be able to find equivalent filters from Mann, Bosch, etc. If you then go to their web-sites, they may have drawings of the parts which detail the thread size.
Or, if you can find the part number of the sensor from partsouq, you should be able to find an exact replacement.
