I've just installed the Racechip Pro 2 in to my 2015 i30 Premium 1.6 diesel. Pain in the backside to find somewhere to mount the unit, eventually settled on the left (from the front) engine mount near the o/s headlight. I may remove it in the future and use velcro to eliminate the cable ties. Seems secure and shouldn't catch too much heat.
I took her out for a quick 30 minute drive on a mixture of roads. On the normal setting, B1, i am so far very impressed. It feels like there is a good increase in power and torque. In stead 30mph traffic she now sits comfortably in 4th gear. Before she would be very hesitant in 4th at that speed, and i would usually drop down to 3rd. It now pulls happily in 4th at 30. Similar results in attacking hills, i'm no longer going hard on the throttle.
Thus far very impressed and i won't be changing the settings. I noticed no discernable change in engine noises, or the smell of the exhaust. Not that i stick my nose in the exhaust regularly.
