Hoping to get some advice on my front washer spray jets.
I noticed a very weak spray today on both. Plenty of water in the tank and motor works but very little water comes out.
Since the rear washer is working normally, I’m reluctant to remove the RHS front wheel and take off the arch etc, as I would have thought if this was the source of the problem, the rear spray would have the same problem.
I have tried gently inserting a pin and spraying some air (from a can) but nothing works.

Does anyone have any other idea?

Thank you

May be a build up of muck in tubes.

Over time if you have used additives in the tank it temds to solidify so the tank may need to ne clearned out.

But as a starter try this:

Open the bonnet and trace the tube from the tank.

You should find a connector along the wing.

Separate the tube and blow air though, I used a footpump.

Reconnect and see if that makes a difference.

If still poor then next would be to clear tank out.
I've read someone did it by putting a hose pipe into the tank and left it on to clear through by water circulating and coming out the fill access.

Thanks for replying.
Firstly, is it better not to add anything but water to this reservoir. I usually add a small amount of auto wiper concentrate and then fill with water.
Secondly,  I could not find any join - it winds it’s way out of the reservoir and then disappears under a myriad of plastic bits.

See if you can trace tube to the front spray ends and if you can look under fittings etc.

Or you could pull the spray head out, it just pulls out but may be tight but be careful as it is plastic and the lugs may be brittle.

You could try blowing back into the tank.

I use additive but use a weak solution in summer and slightly stronger in winter to prevent freezing.

In summer I do a clear through as I've had gunged tubes previously.

Have you tried poking a fine strand of electrical wire (e.g. fuse wire if you still have such a thing) into the washer jet, to see if that helps.
