2013, CW, 5 Door Hatch, Diesel, 1.4L, Manual, Black

Hey guys! The treadings on my water diesel filter sensor was really bad so i didn’t want to screw it on. Bought a 2012 hyundai i30 sensor just so i could Get it running while i buy a new one since The plugs are a little different. Will there be any problems If i just solder the 2013 sensor plug to the 2012 sensor? Or will it destory the car? Anybody tried this before? Or is it any reason for it not working? Thanks!
