I'm thinking of buying an i30 for the first time and have my eye on a 2013 registration with 99k miles on the clock.

Is that too high? Are there any common faults that develop with i30s around that level? I'm not sure whether I should be put off.

Providing it should still be reliable I don't mind higher mileage as it seems good value compared to high prices for low mileage cars I have found.

Thanks

Check the front disks and pads - ask if you want details how.

Check the clutch is OK.

Check the aircon gets cold and doesn't smell

Check the MOT history online

Check full service history, ideally from a dealership

Check tyres for depth and decent manufacturer and even wear

Look in the oil filler - no throth and no bad smell

Check the brake fluid is not dark brown

Ideally start it from cold and make sure it doesn't rattle, and no smoke.

lots of other things....
