As the title of the topic states "This is a new noise is it normal" so I assumed you were trying to further discuss the noise that you've already queried, that'll teach me to assume Anyhow it would still be the same answer that you need to bring up your queries with Hyundai, imo the lights shouldn't dim like that but I've no idea why it's happening
Lights dimming is perfectly normal. It can be a result of any of the following conditionsRPM of alternatorElectrical loadVoltage regulator cut in / cut outBatteries ability to accept chargeAll Eathing pionts and + contact pointsAll perfectly normal to me.
My rpm takes long to come to idle it use to be fast what. You guys think bensintic - i30 Owners Club(8004567) on VimeoSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Any of you blokes actually checked if your car's lights dim when activating the EPS?If Mr's dimmed like the OP's I'd be off to an auto sparky ASAP.Here's Mr's taken tonight, high beam, low beam, aircon you name it, makes no difference to the lights. Haven't seen dimming like the OP's since cars of the 60's.
Unlike carby cars that have a set screw and spring to reduce the revs quickly, the ecu would reduce the fuel flow to the injectors according to it's factory programming.Later model carby engines sometimes were fitted with a dashpot to also slow the return idle speed.
