Hi guys,
When I bought my 2011 Hyundai it was used, so I didn't know if there should be a light lighting. The thing I am talking about is shown on the image link.
And  If there is a light is it easy to remove the red casing?

Just checked mine,  doesn't light either,  so am assuming it's a reflector. Will check owners manual.

Checked and no globes for that position.

Yes you could strap a torch to the side of the seat aimed at the reflector and turn it on when you open the door.

But I'm not kidding. You can remove the lens and drill bright LEDs i to it!

Or even some strips, maybe just enough void and may even get the pigtails out past the clips
