My car has recently started jerking but no engine light has appeared  it has recently been serviced with new fuel filter etc. Anyone any ideas

Could be air in the fuel line possibly

Is the filter OEM part? Cheap (not original) filters have caused those issues for some of us. For some reason some i30s seem to be really sensitive about the filter quality. My car went in to limp mode due cheap fuel filter. After that I've used only original fuel filters and had no issues with them.

Could also be that the fuel filter was not seated right maybe? Or dirty fuel?
