I left one of my credit cards in a shirt pocket and Libby chucked it into the washing machine today with other cotton items for a long hot 80 C wash and 1200 rpm spin.


I was expecting the card to be ruined - but it looked OK superficially - so I walked over to our local Spa shop and got them to try it for both the contactless and conventional pin No. options.


To my surprise it appeared none the worse for its laundering.
