[Alternate]

Hi All,

Looking at getting a Hyundai i30 as a second car for the family to do school runs, shopping and zip around the city. Always been a Subaru guy (current weapon of choice is a 2015 Forester... recently let go of my 2000 WRX  ) so a Hyundai is new territory.

I say newish in the title as in my previous job I had a brand new ~2010 Diesel i30. Considering I flogged the hell out of it (Including one or two red-line clutch drops) and it still kept on going has shot an i30 to the top of my shortlist. Will follow up with a separate post about that shortly.

TL;DR Hi, I'm new, more than likely about to buy an i30

Subarus are well built and relatively reliable but have always been a bit thirsty and expensive to maintain. I think they are improving in that regard now.
