Title: PD annoying door chime (Beeping)

As the title says..    That door chime is ultra annoying when you just want the drivers door open..

Is there anyway to shut the damn thing off ???    Or would it be a case of looking for the unit (speaker) & unplugging it.

Check your user manual Section 3, page 69 under the LCD display section on section 3, page 75, item 4 Sounds - Welcome Sound, will guide you through turning off or on.

Thanks..    But that is not what I am looking for..    That is already turned off on my car..

The beeping is when either: 

1. You press the start button once to turn on the accessories & the door is open. There is beeping.

2. You press the start button twice to turn on the ignition & the door is open. There is beeping.

3.  After the car has been running & you press the start button to turn off the engine. Then open the door.  There is beeping.

I understand it is a warning not to leave ignition on when you get out of the car.  But I would of hoped that somehow it can be turned off...
