That's our i30  :D
my wife has had a busy schedule for the last couple of days, lots of start, accelerate,  stop, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, etc, etc.
It's a big difference to 6.5L/km on a trip, but still very happy   :happydance:
F-knows what the Challenger would have used
Anyone wish to have a go at beating it ?       :goodjob2:

I like your attitude Mick.  :goodjob:

I would have a blue fit if my SR average went over 8!  After about 2300 kms of mixed driving around vic the average for the last 6500 kms has dropped to 7.3 L/100 kms! Very happy with that for a performance model!  :victory:

Worst I've seen in stop start is about 9 on the i40.

I'm sure my wife would do closer to 12 though. 'Why are you slowing down?'  'No point getting to a red light any quicker dear'

DAMN !!
You beat us,  :goodjob:
An hour to get on  unreal .
Must say our 12 figure came as a result of more like courier work.
Anita went to many different places from 50m apart to a couple of k's apart.
I was with her, sometimes she would be just a minute, sometimes 30 min and I had the A/C on for 1/2 the  time.
So for what the usage was still   :happydance:   :happydance:

I can beat that with my work vehicle.

We average approximately 356 litres per 100km.  That's right, no decimal point there!

I worked that out on 5kg of fuel per nautical mile.  That's 6.41 litres per nautical mile, or approximately 3.56 litres per kilometre.

That's on an average speed of 140kts too (approx 250km an hour).

3.5 litres per km @ 250 km/ h , given what you are in and where you are, i'd happy with that too .
Do you sometimes find road travel a real PITA.?
My neighbour, a Sky-writer flies Gold Coast -Sydney - Melbourne very regularly, but if he drives he goes overnight - less traffic.

How goes the face ?

I enjoy road travel, helps when you have nice vehicles like I've had the last few years. Mind you I didn't enjoy driving in Melbourne one bit! Fortunately only about 5% of my driving on this trip was in Melbourne. I really enjoy driving on country roads.

Ironically I don't really enjoy public transport, especially airline travel. I hate queueing up!  :crazy1:

Just went Camden to Newcastle see my folks and in-laws.
A respectable 5.7 / 100 km at 120km/hr with AC on all the way.
Again Happy
