I had a GP Star sat nav installed in my car from new in July 2009 the one that folds down into the dash.
About 2 months ago it "expired" the screen is completely blank. The dealer has sent for a replacement which has not yet arrived. They have now lent me a portable sat nav.( An alternative I could have had in the first place and much cheaper!!)
I am concerned that it may not be possible to replace it as the new model has the option of a built in console instead. I am going to give the dealer a little longer and then I propose to ask them to reinstate the dash back to its original state and refund the cost of the unit.
Has anyone else had similar problems?
