I had my i30 Satnav updated at my 3 year, 45k service. Since then I no longer get the speed limits or overspeed alarms I formerly had on most suburban roads around Brisbane. I have previously had upgrades without problems. This latest upgrade on 17July17 has rendered the Satnav useless as it drops in and out street by street. The service section say nothing can be done and imply it was always like this - which is plain wrong. Has anyone else experience this issue? I am having no joy getting resolution from Customer Care.

Hi, had our GD in for it's 5 year service 4 weeks ago & was playing around to see what was new on the weekend & found a heap of new features.

Now show speed limit, added the current time & elevation.
Plenty of warnings - schools, windy roads etc.
But after going into settings, found they could be turned on & off as required. Maybe yours need re-activating again?

Also could add speed camera detection which I thought I had active, but didn't come up with any alerts - maybe I didn't pass any?

Same problems after update. Customer Service wouldn’t or couldn’t help.
They claimed the supplier of the maps won’t make corrections between yearly updates. Imagine if that was the case with Windows or Apple.
They could fix their suppliers blunder but they don’ t seem to care.

Gee, that seems poor! What sort of issues?
