Title: Shaking at 1500 rev
Post by: agentu008 on April 26, 2021, 15:44:36
Hi! The car is a Hyundai i30 1.6 gdi 2016. I dont know if it's a problem but with the car in park whenvI accelerate to about 1500 rpm the car shakes very lightly. But only at 1400-1500 rpm. Below that value or above I don't feel anything. While driving all is ok too. Is it normal?

Seems normal to me, if you don't sit revving it there is no problem :)

Ive noticed some engines and brands do this more than others, usually all 4 cyl engines as the extra cylinders on 6/8/... cyl engines smooths it out. Hyundai 4 cyl engines always felt a bit... notchy?... not as smooth compared to the Jap engines i have had in the past, but nothing to really complain about though.

Worn/broken engine or trans mounts usually accentuates the problem, could check they are ok.
