Hi, I have a i30 Diesel 1.6 2010 reg, The in car lights don't switch on when car doors are open, they do switch on when I put them on manually, tried all the combos on the light but no joy... so a bit confused on what to do. Any help would be appreciated 😌

Sit in drivers seat with all doors closed.

Set switch to light on in the car.

Open the drivers door and press the on off switch in on the door frame. Usually in a rubber protector and you should feel a plunger which you can push in and when released pops out

Do the lights go out when you push in?

If so then the switch on the light needs to be set correctly.

Also, you say you have tried the combinations on the light swith.

Is the switch set not to off or on but to, I think the mid point which is auto.
i.e. With doors shut put light on then off and there may be another setting which is off when doors closed but on when doors open.
