Hi all, For the last hour i've been looking for NGK spark plugs for the 2017 I30 SR and for the life of me cannot find which ones exactly they are. I think the spark plugs are to fit the g4fj but then when i serach for them on ebay it seems to suggest that they will fit a veloster but not the i30 SR.

Hi all My offside dipped bulb went pop the other day, ordered a replacement from Halfords but I'm worried that the process will involve practically stripping the front of the car. It's a 2015 (65) "GD" model. Have searched google but all I find are "step 1, take the entire car to bits ...".
Anyone got any links to useful guides or videos on if this can be done without all that? Note, Halfords wanted £10 to fit but I just assumed it'd be "open bonnet, find the rear plate and remove, swap bulb and put everything back" job?
I just replaced the 4 glow plugs on my I30 FD CRDI which has done 240,000 kms now , I purchased the glow plug ages ago but was reluctant to do it due to being afraid of snapping them on removal.
I shouldn't have been worried , I just did this and couldn't believe how easy it was to do and had no issues at all removing t...

So after many months of my Airbag/seatbelt light coming on intermittently and than staying on all the time, I've decided to replace the Airbag Clock Spring on my 2014 CRDI i30, especially since lately my steering wheel control buttons stopped responding. The entire operation was a success, no more dash light, Steering wheel controls are working again. This is the actual Ebay link I used and received today, probably took a good hour/half all up taking my time: Ebay Link
Helpful video link I found on YT and some pics I was able to take of the job below ...

Hi all
Since i first got the car, when i made a call, connected to my phone via Bluetooth, it would come on the central display and automatically come through the audio system.
At some point, can't remember when, it changed. Now it will show on the screen but the audio will continue to come through the phone's speakers until it's answered THEN an alert comes on the screen asking if i want to use the car's audio system. It's a nuisance.
Any idea what may have changed and if i can change it back to being automatically through the car's speakers?
It's the i30 estate, 67 reg.
The phone is the Samsung galaxy note 20 ultra with the latest OS, Android 13, One UI 5.0

Hello All, my 7 and half year old OEM battery is dying, down to 12v now. It's a 45amp one. I see the replacements are about 54A, so good, but I also see there are some with high CCA. No idea what I currently have, the standard batteries seem to be 450ish CCA, and the higher ones 540CCA.
Can I put in one with a high CCA? Some websites say don't do it, others, such as battery suppliers, list them as suitable. The car lives outside, often only used 3 or 4 times a week. It's a 2015 GD 1.6 petrol.

Hello, my mom has a 2009 Hyundai i30 CW and due to a small collision with a pillar she got the driver's side headlight pointing upwards (I think) and it doesn't light the road properly anymore (with both high and low beams). Since I know that headlight adjustment is an easy DIY I want to ask you where are those adjustment screws located since I found we screws/bolts on/near the headlight assembly but I'm not sure if those are the adjustment screws since they're not labeled or anything.

Hi, started the car last week and had a message on entertainment screen saying something about software problem, didn’t take much notice and restarted music and it went. Again this morning I had “Application Mona15.exec encountered a serious error and must shut down” Everything seems to be working ok sound wise but the message stays on the screen.

I tried to comment on a thread that was written about this subject a few years ago, but was unable to. My 65 plate i30 diesel yesterday started to speed up when my foot was off the throttle in 3rd gear. I've heard it could be something called "anti stall" but I could of been doing approx 25 mph. I've had the car since January, and have noticed the anti stall feature from stand still , but never like it was yesterday actually driving and in 3rd gear.
My previous i20 diesel never did any of this and this was also a 65 plate.
