  • Sorry, but my karma just ran over your dogma.
I'm in Brisbane and it's OK here but surferdude and Seoulmate are on the Sunshine Coast where a LOT of rain has fallen in the last 24 hours.

Russ is about as high as you can get so he should be OK.
We're at the southern end of the coast and even though we had over 100mm (4") in the 24 hours to now, no real issues. It's been concentrated a bit further north. I actually drove to Brisbane to work today.
Butr now they're predicting a 25% chance the low will form into a cyclone in the next day or so. It's VERY rare for one to form so far south.

I'd be more worried about our Victorian and NSW members given what they've copped in the last few days.

But thanks for your kind thoughts. :goodjob:

Yep, it's a bugger.  Sometimes I am just happy to be under the clouds in boring weather.....   then again, the sunshine is nice and it's sunny today.  I just did some fencing repairs in the back in the lovely sunshine.

Oh well, I guess these things are sent to try us, that poor familly who got blown a great distance wiping out a whole family, how tragic...

The Tornados in the USA would be so terrifying..  :disapp:

The extent of the flooding on the mainland of Australia is also mind boggling.. Some of our members must be effected  :sweating:
