Just had our third and fourth bit of bad luck in as many days :( after inspecting the new tyre we just had fitted I discovered that the steel rod we ran over yesterday must have flicked up and ripped a hole in the front left CV boot and its thrown sticky grease everywhere inside the wheel bay :head_knock: then as I walk around the front of the car I notice the rego plate is missing :head_butt: unlikely that it's fallen off so I think we must have a new thief in the area :disapp:

Right, no crossing of the borders for you. You can keep that luck right there.
What's the strategy for the boot?
We had some plates ripped off over here from a neighbours cars.

Bloody hell ! ,
Your waist deep in the crappy bad luck run aren't you? ? :head_knock:
Wife says "keep it there please " . :D

There's a few other things that need looking at so I'll drive it to my mechanic friend up the road, I'll throw the keys at him and say...you deal with the piece of shit :D

Right, well that should sort it.... I guess
Given how this streak is going , take it easy when you throw the keys. Hate to read about it in the news :crazy1:

:sweating:
Can't have that, who would service my car in future now I'm not dealing with Hyundai :crazy2:

Jeepers. I knew old Excels are a "steal " these days but that is ridiculous! Don't forget to report the stolen number plate to the cops. You don't want number 5 to be a speeding fine or pile of parking fines! :crazy1:

hope your luck improved Craig !!
I've never had a numberplate stollen yet, I got my number plate from my cousin for my twenty first still got it, changed from one ute or car to another. I think I've had two anniversary's for my twenty first

Kamini has already filled out the paperwork for new plates so she’ll have to take Thursday off work to go get the new ones, might get some anti theft screws from super cheap to prevent the little buggers doing it again.

I’ve never had mine stolen either (touch wood),for some reason the Excel attracts attention, was broken into a couple of years ago where they smashed most of the glass and ruined both left and right door locks
