I need to connect a Sony DVD player to my 1920 x 1080 LED TV.

They both have standard size HDMI sockets - will this cheap cable be suitable or should I buy the super gold plated ones.

Looks like a decent price for O2-free Cu-coated cabling.

Maybe a couple of pounds overpriced, but still reasonable

Cables don't matter much unless you've got the equipment to benefit from it and exceptional sight and hearing that picks up fine details.

On my main system ( which I'm barely there to use ) I run a pair of "Kords" 21% silver with palladium tips which for me were a huge improvement over standard cables, 3D bluray is crisper than ever as is the audio performance.

Those $4000 cables are out of my price range though
