This is a relatively common trick played by thieves. Seller beware... and it can get tricky with insurance because technically you've given them permission to drive your car. A while back a guy in Australia had a similar scenario with a much cheaper car. Something like a Skyline or RX7 I think. Don't think he ever got it back.
