Title: Mandurah Hyundai
Post by: Doggie 1 on October 29, 2015, 09:47:04
OK, I'll start.
I bought my new GD Active diesel manual i30 on November 30th 2012 and from new it obviously had a problem with the electric power steering.
Despite visits to several dealerships in the Perth metropolitan area, there was no progress until it was booked into (by Hyundai Australia) Mandurah Hyundai.
There I found the service was excellent, from the girls on the front desk through to the service manager and the service technician I spoke to.
The focus (finally) was on identifying the issue and providing a solution.
And that is what they did, culminating in total replacement of the steering column including the EPS sensor and voila!
A car that drives as it should, two and a half years and nearly 150,000 kms after purchase.
So it's a  :goodjob: to Mandurah Hyundai.
Without them, Hyundai would have lost me forever and it is such a shame that it took so long for Hyundai (through its dealerships) to listen to a loyal customer.
But in the end they did, so all ends well.  :)
