And any tips/suggestions on routing cord/s for the i30 2010

I've got something like this tucked in discretely between rear view mirror and windscreen, powered from the map lights, so routing is virtually non-existent, directly into the front edge of the ceiling fabric.

Check out Street Guardian Drive Recorders, Reverse Cameras & monitors | Street Guardian best cam for money with top support, Blackvue are another top brand though more expensive and support are known for dragging their feet.

I've just recently installed the 70MAI Dashcam Pro into the Mazda, I'll have to check daylight footage however dusk/overcast footage looked good at the resolution I had selected [higher than FHD 1080 but not 4K] .. you can pick them up from Aliexpress by clicking here.

I also have an older BlackVue DR650-2CH that was in my old Mazda which I will be installing into my i30.. That's a 2 channel FHD 1080p front facing camera and a HD 720p rear facing camera setup .. It works very well and is still nice and clear. They certainly have got new versions out now though and the DR720S-2CH is about the equivalent version of my old one.

A quick google for reviews will bring up sample footage for each.
