Door Handle (internal)
Hi all!

I hope someone can help me.
I have a 59 plate (first reg in 01/2010) of Hyundai I30 Comfort, 1396cc, 5 doors.

When I try to unlock the car using central locking all the doors unlock except the rear left passenger's door.
I have tried pulling the door leaver while pressing the central locking key to unlock but no luck either.
I can see the central locking mechanism move/flinch when I press the central locking fob or button in the car but there doesn't seem to be enough force to unlock it.

Would someone be able to help me with this matter?
I would appreciate any piece of advise!
Thank you!

Kind regards,

Problems & Issues
Hi all, just bought a 2009 i30 estate 1.6 crdi premium. Having a few little problems, the trip switch doesn't work, the blowers are a sporadic and sometimes don't come on or go off then back on again randomly and the air con doesn't feel cold.

Have checked fuses and nothing found, checked fuses in the engine bay and again nothing found. Although the diagram on the engine bay depicts another row of fuses that aren't there. Haven't had the chance yet to check if the compressor is running when the a/c is on and probably needs a recharge,

Any advice? Thanks

Hi about to purchase i30 2014 Tourer Elite 1.6 CDRi GD in Australia & wondered if anyone knew what original tyres were? Wondering if 28,000 kms odometer  reading is genuine, given prevalence of odometer wind back? Car History Report doesn't record any odometer info. Figured if it still had original tyres, I'd believe low odometer reading. Still waiting to see service history. If that checks ok, will get NRMA report.
Any other comments or advice on Tourer Elite 1.6 CDRi GD appreciated. I've had a Golf 77tdi (just written off) but none around to purchase with low kms. So, been looking at Hyundai's (both Active and Elite).

Air Con
Recently on one of my posts I complained that the aircon and heater did not work very well. Got a few replies suggesting re-gassing the aircon.
During a sudden moment of inspiration I consulted the owners manual, and located the pollen filter. This was of course completely blocked with dust and plant material. Blowing this out and then subsequently replacing has unsurprisingly resolved the climate issues.
I'm sure there is a moral here somewhere.

Hi all,

After noting the level of interest on the forum and via PM from people seeking information on how to upgrade their current head unit to the GD-03 (Android Auto/Apple Carplay compatible) I decided it would be a good opportunity to share my knowledge on how this is done via a step-by-step DIY guide.

Recently I managed to successfully swap out my factory GD-01 for a GD-03 head unit. There were several reasons I decided to upgrade my head unit to the GD-03:

•   Larger screen size
•   Visually nicer looking GUI
•   Sound quality improvement for radio, Bluetooth and USB media as well having many more options on EQ if you’re into that.
•   Android Auto/Apple Carplay compatible – This was obviously ...

While driving  app 120 km/h the car suddenly accelerated and then cut out. After this it refused to start.
I have checked the fault codes and they are P0193 fuel rail pressure sensor circuit high and P1185
This indicates that the fault is to do with the fuel rail system. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Hi All, I am looking at purchasing a 2nd hand i30 Auto Wagon 2.0l Petrol. The car I'm looking at is in Brisbane (Tamborine) and has been owned from new by the seller, with full log book history. Am viewing the car tomorrow, and service history, so don't know what's been done to it yet.
However, I already did the Revs check and called Hyundai Australia to determine if part of any recall.
They advised that it shows as part of the ESC MODULE recall and showing as not done yet?
What exactly is this recall and what can it affect?
Vehicle is 2010 model SLX and has done 112,291 klm
I have tried calling the seller back to ask why they've not yet had the car fixed under recall but not answering the phone atm.
Do some c...
